What do you like most about your job?

Collaboration, being challenged & job diversification – that is what I live about my role and about Allianz as an employer! Allianz povides limitless growth opportunities and together with the suppurt of management it opens the doors to a world of knowledge and international scope and best practices.

Why should someone consider applying at Allianz, and specifically at Allianz in Asia?

The work culture & environment is very special in Allianz Ayudhya and in addition, Asia is a dynamic and fast growing region which offers a lot to enjoy and do (both professionally and personally). There are also amazing growth & developmental opportunities which is being run by our Regional Office in Singapore. I’m currently on the Regional Women’s Program (diverse leadership) where the focus is on women with leadership potential and their career development. I’m also a participant on the Regional Operations & IT Leadership Program where is the focus is on building functional & leadership capability as well as a strong regional Operations & IT talent pool.

Thailand is known as the land of smiles. We are dynamic and friendly people who are open to change for the better…..and this truly the feeling that you get when you enter our offices! We also have an open plan office which enhances communication and collaboration and even though we are busy we make time to smile, listen and catch-up with one another.

Describe a day in your working life

Most of my days are spend in meetings with management, my teams and colleagues & the other part of the day will be spent on the execution of projects and responsibilities.

What are the challenges you face in your role?

My current focus is on Operations & IT with the main focal point being on improving processes in order for us to operate at optimum cost and increase our future market competitiveness. This brings new challenges across my desk on a daily basis but once a positive outcome is achieved the professional satisfaction feels great.

Tell us a little bit more about your background

I joined Allianz Thailand Life (Allianz Ayudhya) 12 years ago in 2002. This was my first role in Allianz as well as in the insurance sector. Prior to joining Allianz I worked in the banking & securities industry for 9 years. When I joined Allianz I was pleasantly surprised to discover the many opportunities available to grow & broaden my scope into the different areas of financial services.

I’ve been in Operations for the last 5 years and prior to that I spent time expanding my understanding of the insurance business and also gaining experience in the different areas of insurance by working in various different departments. In 2013 I was given the amazing opportunity to be acting COO and following my time in the role I was promoted to Deputy COO.
